The rainy season runs from May through October. When I was going to school the rain would start just before I got on the school bus to go home and would rain for hours. This means I would often have to walk home from the bus stop in the rain. I remember getting home soaked to the skin. Guatemala City is at 4,550 feet and it would get pretty chilly at times. I don't miss being cold and wet.
